Joel David Ison

Joel David "Joey" Ison, 58 of Kona, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Joey was the son of the late Bobby and Patricia (Pat) Ison. Surviving is his girlfriend: Yetta Collier; 3 sons: David Ison, Dalton Ison and Raven Ison; 1 daughter: Kelley Jo Caudill; 2 stepdaughters: Melissa Ison and Jackie Ison; 1 granddaughter: Aspen Faith Ruth Ison; 1 brother: James (Jimbo) Ison; 1 nephew: Wyatt Ison along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Joey was preceded in death by a special aunt and uncle: Sheila and E.J. Hogan. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
