John "Booger John" Farmer Engle was born April 22, 1960. He entered eternal life on Monday, June 15, 2026. Surviving is his wife of 47 years: Maedean Engle of Sandlick. One son: John David Engle; one daughter: Angel (Delvin) Renae Engle Caudill; four grandchildren: Keyara Shepherd, Jordan Shepherd, Layla Engle, and John Mark Engle all of Sandlick; one step grandson: Ethan Caudill of Bulan, Kentucky. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 O'clock A.M. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Coots and Donald Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Sandlick, Kentucky. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. with Church services at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
