Joseph Allen Profitt, 59 of Eolia, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Joseph was the son of the late Marion and Janice Marie Maggard Profitt. Surviving is his wife: Brenda Mitchell Profitt; children: Crystal Higgins (James) of Eolia, Sarah Bolling of Eolia, Rhonda Adams of Flemingsburg, Kristy Smith of Pike County and Ronnie Bentley of Pike County; grandchildren: Bridgett Baker, Madyson Roberts, Elijah Roberts, Rachel Smith, Abby Smith, Kaleb Bentley, Remington Adams and Kara Bentley; Kenneth Smith; Robin Akins; 4 great grandchildren: Max Smith, Myla Smith, Ava Adkins, and Samual Baker; 2 brothers: Billy Profitt of McKee and Benny Profitt of Somerset. Joseph was preceded in death by 1 sister: Deborah Lewis and 2 nephews. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Union Old Regular Baptist Church at Jonancy with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Visitation: 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Union Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kenny Phillips Cemetery at Eolia, Kentucky.
