Josephine "Cat" Campbell

Josephine "Cat" Campbell, 88 of Cornettsville, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at her residence. Josephine was the daughter of the late Bethel and Inis Williams Griffith. She was the widow of Frank "Nub" Campbell. Surviving is 2 sons: Freddie (Alice) Campbell and Artemus (Darlene) Campbell both of Hallie; 2 daughters: Mary Ann Cottrel of Knott County and Taffie (Jay) McCool of Hallie; 2 sisters: Bobbie Jean Justice of North Vernon, Indiana and Teresa Griffith of Hazard; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Josephine was preceded in death by 1 son: Thomas Campbell. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Fields, Ross Wright, Josh Huff, Danny Dixon, and others officiating. Visitation 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hiram Campbell Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
