Obituary
Kaiden Barker, 17, of Blackey passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Kaiden is the son of Michael Barker and Vada (Josh) Watts of Blackey.
Surviving other than his parents are 3 Brothers: Byron (Destany) Barker of Kingdom Come; Jarred Tyler (Cassie) Barker of Elk Creek; Braiden Barker of Linefork; 1 sister: Robin (Billy) Ison of Blackey; and 1 Step Brother: Noah Caudill of Blackey. Grandparents: Grandparents: Teresa (Oscar) Profitt and Louada Rogers. Great Grandmother: Lonnie Combs of Linefork; Special Aunts; Dewana Combs and Amanda (Peyton) Back; Uncle: Keith Rogers; Aunts: Keshia (Hubie) Jent and Natasha (Bruce) Parsons. Nieces and Nephews: Emma Mullins, Gracelynn Barker, Lucas Barker, Bryson Barker, Kara Middaugh; Cousins: Jaydence Slone, Jeremiah Hurt, Jaden Back, Emaleigh, Gaige, Lilyana, Kaleb, Maddox, Finn and Vivi. Kaiden was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Jerry Daniel Rogers; paternal grandparents: Paul Barker and Phyllis Blanton; and 1 Aunt: Rebecca Ann Rogers.
Funeral: 1:00 P.M. Sunday; April 23, 2023 at the Mt. Olivet Church at Blackey. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. Friday, April 21, 2023 and Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Mt. Olivet Church. Burial will follow in the Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
