Karen Lynn Jackson, 70 of Neon, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Whitesburg, Kentucky. Karen was the daughter of the late James and Carrie Garland Seward. Surviving is her husband: Robert Earl Jackson; 7 sons: Charles (Jenny) McGilton of North Carolina, Michael (Melanie) McGilton of Alabama, Shannon Garland of Neon, Jeremy (Kayla) Jackson of Western, Kentucky; Jesse (Exa) Jackson of Neon, Zack Garland of Neon, and Dakota Garland of Neon; 4 daughters: Cynthia McGilton of Redfox, Connie (John) Whitaker of Hazard, Carrie (John) Tackitt of Mayking, and Cheyhanne Garland of Neon; 2 brothers: Vernon Seward of Stearns and George Seward of Pine Knott; 5 sisters: Judy Garland of Strunk, Linda Coomer of Nancy; Irene King of Strunk, Debbie Genoe of Strunk, and Brenda Stulz of Somerset; 31 grandchildren; 20 great grandchild. Karen was preceded in death by 1 son: Chris McGilton; 2 sisters: Kathy Clark and Wanda Davis. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Kings Chapel Church with Frank Holbrook and Danny Quillen officiating. Visitation: 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Kings Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
