Kathleen (Adams) Cornett

Kathleen "Kathy" Cornett, 86 of Blackey, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at her residence. Kathy was the daughter of the late James Harvey and Alpha Adams. Surviving is her husband: Elwood Cornett; 2 grandchildren: Katie Ellane and Melanie Watts; nieces and nephews: Bobby Gene, Frank, Patricia, and Leigh along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Kathy was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Gene Adams and Bob Adams; 1 sister: Barbara Girdley; 2 nephews: Timothy Adams and Scott Adams. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church at 11:00 O'clock A.M. with James Caudill, Danny Dixon, Toby Breeding, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Cornett Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. and all day Monday, December 23, 2024, with additional services at 7:00 O'clock P.M. both nights at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church.
