Kathy "Nanny" (Perry) Rose

Kathy "Nanny" Rose, 75 of Cromona, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Elkhorn City, Kentucky. Kathy was the daughter of the late James Perry and Juanita Drury Vance. She was the widow of Homer Rose Jr. Kathy was a nurse for over 36 years. Surviving is 3 sons: Rodney Wayne (Stephanie) Rose of McRoberts, Homer Rose III of Cromona and David (Crystal) Rose of Payne Gap; 2 daughters: Sandra Black of Redding, Ohio and Juanita "Sissy" Rose of Cromona; 2 sisters: Cynthia Perry of Jenkins and Renee Albright of Trenton, Ohio; 9 grandchildren: Amber, Casey, Samantha, Clint, Sydney, Lauren, Homer IV, Rodney and Christian; great grandchildren: Ava, Pacyn, Addie, Easton, Aubrey, Lily, Gatlin, Arianna, Aiden, Gia and Natalie. Kathy was preceded in death by 2 brothers: David Perry and John Perry. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Sturgill officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
