Kelly Cornett

Kelly Cornett, 100 of Hueysville, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at his residence. Kelly was the son of the late Lilly and Polly Jane Griffie Cornett. He was the widower of Musette Halcomb Cornett. Surviving is 2 sons: Colin Kelly Cornett and Olen Lee Cornett both of Hueysville; 3 daughters: Marilyn (Thomas) Halbert of Prestonsburg, Mercedes (Michael) Smith of Lancaster and Movina Carol Blackburn of Hueysville; 1 sister: Lillian Lane of Lexington; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Halcomb and Danny Dixon officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lilly Cornett Woods at Hallie, Kentucky.
