Ken Trent Sr., 71 of Whitco, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Ken was the son of the late Bob and Virgie Tyra Trent. Surviving is 1 son: Ken Maynard Trent Jr. of Whitco; 1 daughter: Angela Faye (Harold) Belcher of Big Stone Gap, Virginia; siblings: Faye Garcia of Deer Park, Texas, Bob Trent Jr. of Water Valley, Patricia Posen of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Bennett Trent (Sherry) of Water Valley and Linda Brown (Steve) of Whitesburg; 1 grandchild: Johnathon Belcher. Ken was preceded in death by siblings: Maxine Adams, Pauline Webb, Barbara Brown, Hager Trent Sr., Lorene Lee, Fairy Duncan and Charles Trent. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with John Conn officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Trent Cemetery at Whitco, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to help pay funeral expenses.
