Larry Anthony Rose

Larry Anthony Rose, 57 of McRoberts, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at his residence. Larry was the son of the late Larry Acie Rose and Velma Sue Rose. Surviving is his wife: Kathy Collins Rose; 2 sons: Larry Anthony Rose Jr. of Whitesburg and Cody Wayne Collins of Neon; 1 daughter: Kimberly (Robert) Ashley of McRoberts; 1 grandson: Hunter Ashley; 2 granddaughters: Ava Collins and Aleah Collins; 1 sister: Katrina (John) Walker of Richmond, Kentucky; 2 brothers: Keith (Lois) Rose of Seco, Kentucky and David Michael (Mary) Rose of Pound, Virginia; best friend: Delmer Rose. Other than his parents, He is preceded in death by 2 sons and 1 nephew: Axle Bentley. Larry loved to be in the outdoors. Riding the trails, fishing, and camping. He served in the community for many years. From serving on the Jenkins Volunteer Fire Department to being a member of the Kiwanis Club of Jenkins. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Burdine Church of God of Prophecy. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Burdine Church of God of Prophecy. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery at Payne Gap, Kentucky.
