Larry Acie Rose

Larry Acie Rose, 78 of Payne Gap, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. Larry was the son of the late Acie and Edna Johnson Rose. Surviving is his wife: Margaret Brown Rose; 3 sons: Keith (Lois) Rose of Seco, Larry Anthony (Kathy) Rose of McRoberts and David Michael (Mary) Rose of Pound, Virginia; 3 daughters: Katrina (John Walker of Richmond, Michelle (Andrew) Wright of Mayking and Toni (John) Wright of Bean Station; 4 brothers: Walter Rose of Morristown, Tennessee, Gary Don Rose of Payne Gap, Wendell Rose of Jenkins and Gerald Rose of Pikeville; 8 sisters: Gaynell Adkins of Indiana, Becky Rose of Jenkins, Belva Mullins of Payne Gap, Dorothy  Vanetta of Somerset, Freda Rogers of Pikeville, Lavada Wright of Payne Gap, Alice Lockwood of Payne Gap and Vanessa Rose of Jenkins; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.  Larry was preceded in death by 1 brother: Tommy Rose; 2 sisters: Bobbie Jean Duncil and Louise Vance; 1 grandson: Axle Bentley. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Howard officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
