Lavada (Ladd) Ogelvie

Lavada Ogelvie, 96 of Cromona, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Lavada was the daughter of the late Dave and Elsie Paxton Ladd. She was the widow of Robert Ogelvie and was proceeded in death by her daughter Brenda Kincer. Surviving is 1 brother: David Ladd (Jeanette) of Haymond; 1 sister: Gail Bryant of Charlotte, NC; 3 grandchildren: Deana Polly (Greg) from Fountain Inn, SC;  Kristi Knight from Simpsonville, SC; and Todd Kincer from Neon, KY; and 7  great grandchildren: Brittani Frazier (James); Kara Rodgers, Devon Knight (Cheyenne), Cameron Knight, Hannah Kincer, Halle Kincer, And Dawson Kincer; and 7 great-great grandchildren: Noah Frazier, Ryan Rodgers, Holden Frazier, Grayson Frazier, Harper Frazier, Benji Rodgers and Jaxon Rodgers. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Hurst officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Thornton Cemetery at Thornton, Kentucky.
