Lena Faye (Newman) Dixon Caudill

Lena Faye Dixon Caudill, 80 of Borden, Indiana, formerly of Jeremiah, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Rolling Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, Indiana. Lena was the daughter of the late Tom and Lula Holland Newman. Surviving is her husband: Larry Caudill of Borden, Indiana; 1 son: Craig (Deborah) Dixon of Jeremiah; 3 daughters: Gwendolyn (Leonard) Begley of Campbranch, Angela (John) Swisher of Whitesburg, and Kristina Payton of Indiana; 1 brother: Bill (June) Newman of Winchester, Kentucky; 1 sister: Sarah (Ross) Thomas of Fayetteville, North Carolina; 5 grandchildren: Tiffany Dixon, Mandy Wynn, Toni Profitt, Jessie Perry, and David Pearson; 1 great grandchild: Josie Profitt along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Lena was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Roy Dixon; 1 daughter: Cheryl Lynn Dixon; 1 brother: Fred Newman; 2 sisters: Gladys Pratt and Virginia Collins. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 O'clock noon on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Vergle Caudill and Reverend Dr. Sarah-Damron Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
