Lily Mae (Conner) Hicks

Lily Mae Conner Hicks entered eternal life at her home in Meadowview, Virginia on December 21, 2025.  She was born in Crown, Kentucky.   Lily was the daughter of the late Willie Conner and Martha Lowe Conner. She had 3 brothers David, William and Emmett Conner.  She was married to James Curtis Hicks.  They resided at Mayking, Kentucky during their 64 years of marriage.  Lily was the mother of 2 children. Ramona Jones (Coy) of Meadowview, Virginia, Tony Hicks of Mayking, Kentucky  she had 3 grandchildren. Jason Jones of Meadowview, Virginia,  Brandon Hicks (Alyssa) of Andover, Virginia and Tabatha Bentley (Dustin) of Syracuse, Utah.  2 step grandchildren Rachel Jones and Fred Jones both of Whitesburg, Kentucky,  3 great grandchildren.  Gannon HIcks, Lyla Hicks of Andover, Virginia and Nora Bentley of Syracuse, Utah.  Lily was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son, and Brothers. 

Lily loved the Lord and her Cram Creek Pentecostal Church Family.   She loved her family as well as gardening, sewing, cooking and taking care of those around her and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her.    A special thank you to her son in law, Coy Jones for the care he provided her in the years proceeding her death. 

Services will be held 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Letcher Funeral Home,  Whitesburg Kentucky with Jack Howard officiating.

. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial to follow at Day Cemetery in Ermine, Kentucky.
