Lonna Ann Caudill was the youngest child and only daughter of H.D. Caudill, Jr. and Edna Whitaker Caudill. Both preceded her in death, as did an older brother, Ken Douglas Caudill. She was born in Owensboro, KY, and grew up in Jeffersontown, KY. She graduated from Jeffersontown H.S., where she was in the marching band. She later attended the University of Louisville.
Lonna Ann was a faithful attendee of Antioch Old Regular Baptist Church for many years. She loved bowling and was a member of local bowling leagues withher parents for many years. She enjoyed word games, sudoku, and jigsaw puzzles.
She developed epilepsy at age 5, which ultimately contributed to her death. She was currently living in a 24/7 staffed assisted living residence and attending therapy sessions at the Shelbyville Rd. Neurotherapy on Monday – Wednesday, and Adult Day Training at Brighter Day on Thursday and Friday.
She is survived by two brothers, Michael Alan (Marcia), of Carcassonne, KY, and Robert Lee (Barbara) of Louisville. She is also survived by 4 nephews, 4 nieces, one great-nephew, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, in addition to manyfriends and clinicians who worked with her over the years.
Louisville visitation will be held at Ratterman Funeral Home in Jeffersontown on Friday, December 6, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Eastern Kentucky visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, December 8th , 5:00 to 8:00 PM, at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg, KY, Funeral services will be held Monday, December 9th, 11:00 AM at Letcher Funeral Home, followed by interment in the Solomon H. Whitaker Cemetery in Carcassonne, KY, beside her mom, dad, and older brother, and other relatives.
