Lonnie Lewis

Lonnie Lewis age 94 of Partridge, Ky. passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Lonnie was a coal operator by trade and enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved raising a little vegetable garden ever year. He loved people and enjoyed talking to them. He would always have something funny to say. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict. 

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife Carolyn; son: Lonnie D. Lewis and his wife Candee who he called his California girl; daughter: Connie Simson and husband Mike; a son: Carlos Lewis; 2 grandsons: Johnathan Simpson and wife Kristin and Justin Simpson; a granddaughter: Maria Lewis; a great grandson: Julian Simpson; a sister: Madge Jenkins and 2 brothers: bob and Ronald Lewis; a very special niece: Jennifer Hampton.

It is our belief that Heaven has gained another angel.

Funeral: 3:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Colinger officiating. Visitation: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery at Partridge, Kentucky.
