Lorene (Roark) Hampton

Lorene Roark Hampton, 84 of Kingscreek, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Lorene was the daughter of the late Parrott and Lona Day Roark. She was the widow of Donald Hampton. Surviving is 1 son: Mark D. (Linda Moss) Roark; 2 grandchildren: Stacia Fleming and Jamie Fleming; 3 great grandchildren: Logan, Taylor and Darius; 3 great great grandchildren: Ben, Jolie and Nyle; 2 sisters: Mildred Roark Ison of Kingscreek and Juanita Roark Reeves of Versailles along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, neighbors and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Lorene was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Thomas Roark and George Roark; 6 sisters: Polly R. Hicks, Eulene Hogg, Geneva Roark, Norma Roark, Barbara Huff and Gladys Cornett. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow int he Roark Cemetery at Kingscreek, Kentucky.
