Louise (Mills) Jones

Louise Jones, 77 of Whitesburg, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Highlands Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Louise was the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn Moore Mills. She was the widow of Charles Lee Jones. Surviving are 2 sons: Eddie (Trisha) Jones of Whitesburg and Roger (Missy) Jones of Independence, Kentucky; 1 sister: Sharlette Hensley of London, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren: Sierra, Zach (Lakyn), and McKenzie along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Louise was preceded in death by 1 son: Larry Wayne Jones; 2 brothers: Lester Mills and Earnest Mills; 5 sisters: Carol Mills, Phylis Jones, Wilma Calebs, Brenda Evans, and Juanita Mason. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Hampton Funeral Home in Barbourville, Kentucky with Jabo Miles officiating. Visitation 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Hampton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery at Hinkle, Kentucky. In town visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Calvary Temple Church from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
