Lowell Zenith Ison, 75 of Jeremiah, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at Mayking, Kentucky. Zenith was the son of the late George and Callie Fields Ison. He was the widower of Patricia Bryant Ison. Surviving is 2 sons: George Bryan (Shelley) Ison of Elizabethtown and Josh Lowell Ison of Jeremiah; sisters: Gertrude Ison of Franklin, Ohio, Janetta Hickman of Hermitage, Tennessee, Mae Whitaker of Loggy Hollow, Juean Turner of Shelbyville, JoAnn Copley of Hilliard, Ohio, and Castella Ison of Pontiac, Michigan; grandchildren: Kory Ison and Chloe Ison; step grandchildren: Daisha Lamb and Kyra Lamb. Zenith was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Mary Halcomb and Frankie Sebastian; 3 brothers: Coeburn, Minuard, and James. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Dixon and Virgil Caudill officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lilley Cornett Woods Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
