Madge Marie Adams

Madge Marie Adams, 86, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, North Carolina. Madge was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Couch Adams. She was the widow of Kenneth Adams. Surviving is 3 daughters: Diedra (Bobby) Ratliff of Stanley, North Carolina, Delana (Jamie) Ray of Bessemer, North Carolina and Kendra (Mark) Whitaker of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; 1 brother: Adean Adams of Ermine; 1 sister: Wanda Collins of Ermine; grandchildren: Aubrey Ballenger, Chase Ratliff, Ikaika Quintua, McKenzie Ray, Emily Whitaker and Seth Whitaker; great grandchildren: Kloey Garrett, Lane Garrett, Elynd Ratliff and Brynlee Ratliff. She was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, grandmother. A beautiful strong precious soul with a smile that could light up a room. Loved by so many. She loved her late husband and her daughters more than life itself, always giving unselfishly never thinking of herself. She loved her sons-in-law as her own and she adored her grandchildren who affectionately called her Nana. She always said that her husband was her best friend and she promised him she would never love another like him. She kept that promise until the very end of her life. Though our hearts are broken we take comfort in knowing she is resting peacefully now in Heaven, reunited again with our precious Daddy, the love of her life. Her love and legacy will remain in our hearts forever. Rest now our sweet Mother, you are finally home. Until we meet again. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Campbell officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
