Maggie "Tootsie" Mae Stewart, 77 of McRoberts, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. Maggie was the daughter of the late Martin and Agnes Halcomb Bates. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Stewart. Surviving is 2 Sons: Oden Stewart of McRoberts, Audie Stewart (Charles Rapier) of Port St, Lucie Florida; 1 sister: Pearlie Bates of Thornton along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Jessie Bates, Lenville Bates, Sonny Bates, Finley Bates. Funeral 1:00 O'Clock P.M. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Fleming Baptist Church with Brent Thompson Officiating, Visitation 9:00 O'Clock A.M. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Fleming Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Seco, Kentucky
