Marie Reedy Obituary

Marie Madden Reedy of Isom passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.

Marie was the daughter of the late Hager and Emma Ritchie Madden.

Marie was born February 8, 1934 being 86 years, 4 months, and 4 days of age at the time of her passing.

Marie was a member of the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church since 1982.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Gillis Reedy, along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Marie was preceded in death by two sisters: Oline Mullins (Gail) and Josephine Holcomb (Hoover).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that all donations be made to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.

Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, June 15, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Don Pratt, Robert Holcomb, and H.B. Reedy Jr. officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Isom Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
