Marie Wells, 85 of Whitesburg, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Marie was the daughter of the late Ark and Ethel Gibson Isaac. She was the widow of Arthur Wells. Surviving is 1 son: Arthur Russell (Annette) Wells of London; 3 daughters: Jina (Randall) Patton of London, Wilma Wells of Whitesburg, and Betty Fleming of Grundy, Virginia; 3 brothers: Clyde Isaac of Ohio, Jimmy Isaac of Virginia, and Tim Isaac of Wheelwright; 3 sisters: Hazel Harvey of Wheelwright, Dinnia Marcum of Winchester, and Anna Lou Ball of Michigan; grandchildren: Pearl, Felicia, Robert Steve, Shane, John Carl, Chester, Courtney, Kolline, Larry Joe, Jommy, and Victorie. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Aaron Profitt and Loran Sturgill officiating. Visitation: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Old Salem Cemetery at London, Kentucky.
