Marietta (Collins) Spangler

Marietta Spangler, 81 of Englewood, Ohio formerly of Letcher County, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at her residence. Marietta was the daughter of the late Thurston and Mattie Sergent Collins. She was widow of Bobby Spangler. Surviving is 3 sons: Jeffery Adams, Bobby Wade Adams and Travis Todd Adams; 3 daughters: Jennifer Griffith, Teresa Collins and Danita Dalcin; 1 brother: Windus Collins; 4 sisters: Norma Adams, Virgie Halcomb, Gayle Franklin and Pauline Bates; 22 grandchildren along with a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Marietta was preceded in death by 2 sons: Phillip Gene Adams and Barry Dwight Adams. 7 brothers: Roy, Billy, Lester, Estill, Jr., Jessie and Bobby Joe; 4 sisters: Ruth Ison, Alberta Web, Rena Sturgill and Ann Combs. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Cecil Howard officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday and 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
