Mark McKellen Lucas, 50 of Thornton, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Mark was the son of the late Charles Fultz and Nancy Baker Lucas. Surviving is 1 son: Ayden Lucas of Thornton; 2 daughters: Megan Lucas (Maxwell) Collins of Kingscreek and Emelia Lucas Lucas (T.J.) Rose of Thornton; 2 brothers: Scott Fultz of Miami and Charlie Fultz of Florida; 1 sister: Sandy Fultz Schmidt of Indiana; 5 grandchildren: Landon Collins, Remington Rose, Paighton Rose, Paisley Rose and Avery Rose. Mark was preceded in death by 1 brother: Matthew Lucas; stepfather: Donald Lucas. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Friday, January 14, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery at Thornton, Kentucky.
