Martha Jane "Mot" McIntyre

Martha Jane "Mot" McIntyre, 84 of Letcher, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Mot was the daughter of the late Campbell Bascom and Lois Covington McIntyre. Surviving is 3 sisters: Frances Smelko of Kettering, Ohio, Hester (Steve) Konkle of Muncie, Indiana and Mary Grace Raglin of Letcher along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Mot was preceded in death by a brother: Campbell Bascom "Bucky" Jr., 3 brother in laws; Elmer Whitaker Jr., Francis "Huck" Smelko, and Don "Rags" Raglin; 1 sister in law: Ernestine McIntyre.  Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Merle Caudill officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the McIntyre Cemetery at Letcher, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Doermann Memorial Church, to be used for their annual Christmas Angel Mission.
