Marvin Douglas Meade, 76 of Payne Gap, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Marvin was the son of the late Marvin Van and Bessie Meade. Surviving is his wife: Donna Killen Meade; 2 sons: Douglas Van Meade of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Whitney Meade of Jenkins; 3 daughters: Kristi Williams of Dandridge, Tennessee, Delana Creech of Knoxville, Tennessee and Lori Sturkie of North Carolina; 1 brother: G.W. Meade of Shelbyville; 2 sisters: Connie Wampler of Michigan City, Indiana and Carrie Blair of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Marvin was preceded in death by 1 brother: Mitchell Meade; 1 sister: Peggy Wampler. No Services Scheduled.
