Mary Helen Blair, 89 of Whitesburg, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Letcher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Whitesburg. Mary Helen was the daughter of the late Bennie and Bessie Watts Blair. She was the widow of John M. Blair. Surviving is 2 sons: Adrian (Libby) Blair of Letcher and Enos (Kyra) Blair of Taylorsville; 1 brother: Winford "Beaneye" Blair of Jeremiah; 3 grandchildren: Rhiannon, Kodi, and Levi along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Mary Helen was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Willis, Ebb, Larry "Misery", Estill "Pootsie", Astor, and Lexter; 2 sisters: Nancy Carol Craft and Beulah Mae Barrier. Funeral 11:00 O'clock A.M. Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, Toby Breeding, and Don Pratt officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
