Mary Ethel (Pendleton) Fields

Mary Ethel Fields, 78 of Cowan, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at her residence. Mary was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sarah Banks Pendleton. She was the widow of Orville Lee Fields. Surviving are her children: Lisa Honeycutt of Ermine, Linda Fields of Hazard, James Lee Fields of Cowan, Rosemary McClain of Blackey, and James Orville Fields of Cowan; 1 sister: Daisy Potter of Campbranch along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren to mourn her passing. Mary was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Brenda Lee Fields and Sarah Jeanette Fields; 7 Brothers: Arthur Pendleton, Doug Pendleton, J.B Pendleton, Woodrow Pendleton, Earl Pendleton, Richard Pendleton, Rob Pendleton, and Howard Pendleton; 1 step sister: Hazel Pendleton. Funeral Services for Mary will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with John Conn officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, December 15, 2024, starting at 6:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Fields Cemetery at Cowan Ky.
