Mary J. Gibson, 94 of Ashland, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Kings Daughter U.K. Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky. Mary was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Feltner York. She was the widow of Willis Troy Gibson. Surviving is 1 daughter: Nancy (Rod) Turnmyre of Ashland; 1 brother: Danny Adams of New Castle, Indiana; 1 sister: Ida Jenkins of New Castle, Indiana; 6 grandchildren: Robin McHone, Stephen Todd Kincer, Troy A. Gibson, Benji Gibson, Jessica Stidham and April Lucas; 18 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by 2 sons: Benjamin "Bobby" Gibson and Jesse W. Gibson. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 12:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
