Mary Jane (Christensen) Smith

Mary Jane Smith, 76 of Premium, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Mary was the daughter of the late Neils Christensen and Myrtle Francis Faldon Bloom. She was the widow of Richard Smith. Surviving is 1 son: Luke (Angela) Capps; 5 daughters: Connie Capps, Bonnie (Billy) Carroll, Shelia (Joey) Thacker, Janice (Bobby) Brummett, and Tia Smith; 1 sister: Sharon Weidenbach; 9 grandchildren: Ray Collins, Tamara Wing, Kayla Longstreath, Autumn Capps, Shawn Bolling, Xavier Parris, Aaliyah Parriss, Gabe Capps, and Megan Thacker; 8 great grandchildren: Connor Collins, Abe Collins, Elizabeth Wing, Titus Wing, Symphanie Wing, Beau Wing, Levi Longstreath, and Reynard Scroggins II along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Mary was preceded in death by 1 sister: Kay Muldowney. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Frazier Family Cemetery at Premium, Kentucky.
