Mazie Ann (Hensley) Brown

Mazie Ann Brown, 75 of Isom, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Mazie was the daughter of the late Floyd and Daisy Amburgey Hensley. She was the widow of the love of her life: Richard (Rich) Brown. Surviving is 2 daughters: Teresa Lynn Hayes (Timothy) and Kimberly Gail Brown (Ronnie); 6 grandchildren: Leslie Ann Gibson, Katelynn Mana Gibson (Justin Hall), Kacey Troutt, Dalton Hayes (Amanda), Adyn Douglas Hayes, Santana Leshay Banks, Tyler Devin Wojciechowski; 9 great grandchildren: Lauren Adams, Zoey Hammonds, Carson Hall, Jaxxon Hall, Landon Hall, Hudson Sawyer Bailey, Riley Stone Bailey (Little Richard), Renlee Sage Bailey (Little Mazie), and Kasen Douglas Hayes; 2 brothers: Bill Hensley of Colson and Larry Hensley of Whitesburg; 1 sister: Thelma Mullins of Whitesburg along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Mazie was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Lisa Mae Gibson 4 brothers: Clyde Hensley, Floyd Hensley, Allen Hensley, and Marty Hensley. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 O'clock P.M. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Little Colley, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
