Melissa Ann Day Cook, 46 of Cowan, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at her residence. Melissa was the daughter of Roger Sr. and Judy Adams Day of Cowan. Surviving other than her parents is her husband: Larry Cook; 2 sons: James Michael and Charlie Elijah; 1 daughter: Amelia Grace; 1 sister: Carolyn (Roger) Adams; 1 brother: Roger Lee (Karen) Day; 9 nieces, 9 nephews, 8 great nieces; 16 great nephews; 3 special daughters: Carli Combs, Meghan Combs, and Allison Combs Huff. Melissa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Lillian Day and James Day; paternal grandparents: George Adams and Clora Adams. mother-in-law: Anna Mae Cook; father-in-law: Anna Mae Cook; father-in-law: Dexter Cook; 2 great nephews. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Calvary Temple Church with Conard Profitt officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel and 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Calvary Temple Church. Burial will follow in the Day Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
