Metry Kuracka Jr.

Metry Kuracka Jr., son of the late Metry and Anna Miller Kuracka was born in Perry. County. He entered eternal life Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Letcher Manor Rehab Center being 80 years, 1 month, and 25 days of age at his passing. Junior enjoyed gardening when he was able. He was proud of his peaches that he loved sharing with his friends at the Senior Citizen Center. He enjoyed socializing with his friends at the center. He faithfully attended Colson Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by his wife Lorraine Banks Kuracka, one son Derrick Kuracka of Isom and one granddaughter Hailey Kuracka of Colson, one brother Andrew Kuracka of Slidell, Louisiana and one sister Louise Wilkins of Dayton, Ohio. Also surviving are relatives and friends to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Brooke Burns, Francis Davis, and Helen Elamon; brother: brothers Carl Kuracka, Martin Kuracka, and Donald Kuracka. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Scotty Amburgey and Duane Beachey officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
