Misty Lashae Niece, 38 of Sandlick, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Whitesburg, Kentucky. Misty was the daughter of Rodney Taylor and the late Imoa Faye Niece Taylor. Surviving other than her father is 1 sister: Michelle Rene Niece (David) of Knott County; 2 nephews: Austin Bowling of Jenkins and Dalton Wilson of Ohio; 1 great niece: Ryleigh; 2 great nephews: James (Goobie) and Axel; grandmother: Shirley Lucas; 2 uncles: Gary Taylor and Harry (Betty) Taylor; 2 aunts: Jennifer Lucas and Selenia (Jerry) Sexton along with a host of cousins and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Misty was preceded in death by 1 child: Asia Shaylynn Michelle Niece; grandparents: Robert Taylor, Mertie and Bradley Niece; 2 uncles: Randy Taylor and Dean Niece; 2 aunt: Creeda Stallard and Bonnie Bolling. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Buford Combs and Jabo Miles officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Colson, Kentucky.
