Musette Cornett, 86, of Hueysville passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at her residence. Musette was the daughter of the late Henry and Dicy Ison Halcomb. Surviving is her husband: Kelly Cornett; 2 sons: Colin Kelly (Gladys) Cornett and Olen Lee (Linda) Cornett all of Hueysville; 3 daughters: Marilyn (Thomas) Halbert of Prestonsburg, Mercedes (Michael) Smith of Lancaster, and Movina Carol Blackburn of Hueysville; 3 brothers: Bill Halcomb of Hamilton, Ohio, Joe Halcomb of Hamilton, Ohio, and Ford Halcomb of Lexington; 2 sisters: Mary Creech of Frankfort and Monette Carolyn Lawson of Lexington; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Musette was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Virgil Halcomb and Ed Halcomb; 3 sisters: Eula Mae Cornett, Sarah Lou Ison, and Eunice Crase. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Halcomb, Ford Halcomb, and Danny Dixon officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cornett Family Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
