Nancy Faye (Trent) Gibson

Nancy Faye Gibson, 70 of Colson, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Nancy was the daughter of the late Billy Ray and Elizabeth Ann Adams Trent. Surviving is her husband of 53 years: Darrell Gibson; 1 son: Jimmy Darrell (Selena) Gibson of Colson; 1 sister: Libby (Charlie) Caudill of Georgetown, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren: Bailey, Mackenzie, and Fynlee; special god daughter: Tracey (Wallace) Mullins; special aunt: Monica "Rosie" (Terry) Carter; special nieces: Wanda Sue (Dennis) Pace and Tekiah (Travis) Watts; special friends: Towonna Jones, Brenda Adams, and Glenda Banks; adopted son: Roland Slone and his son: Hunter Slone; special children to her heart: Dusty Banks, Logan Craft, Kaleb Thomas, Katie Parker, and Belle Parker along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Nancy was preceded in death by 1 brother: Jimmy Trent; 3 sisters: Marita Fafard, Billy Ann McCool, and Anita Mae "Tink" Johnson. Funeral 12:00 O'clock noon Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the Colson Pentecostal Church with Chuck Hall, Bruce Stamper, and Vergle Caudill officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Colson Pentecostal Church. Visitation all day Monday, February 5, 2024, at the Colson Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery at Colson, Kentucky.
