Onis Barnett, 70, of Blackey passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice care Center in Hazard. Onis was the son of the late Amos Barnett and Jessie Walters Adams. Surviving is his wife: Nina Whitaker Barnett;1 Son: Paul Barnett if Vicco; 1 Daughter: Alice Lynn Caudill of Blackey; 1 Brother: Enos Banks of Vicco; 1 Sister: Mary Helen Ivey of Harlan; 5 Grandchildren: Jasmine Combs, Devontaye Kyle Barnett, Alliehyana Caudill, Dalton Onis Caudill, Kayci Caudill. 1 Great Grandchild: Gabriel Lukas Cates. Funeral 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church with Bill Jones officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Blackey.
