Pamela (Rasnick) Dixon

Mrs. Pamela Rasnick Dixon of Concord passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

Her funeral will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday (2/20/24) at Blackey Missionary Baptist Church in Blackey, KY. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM Monday (2/19/24) at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg, KY.

Pamela was born May 20, 1947 in Detroit, MI to the late Ralph R. Rasnick and Jacqueline Ratliff Rasnick. She was also preceded in death by husband James R. Dixon, son Jason Tate Wright, and brother Dennis Rasnick. She retired from BB&T Bank as a Teller Supervisor. Pamela and her husband were foster parents who touched many lives. She was dedicated to her friends, her church, her family, being the beloved aunt. Pamela was a fabulous cook and loved reading and music.

Pamela is survived by daughters Marsha Cannon and husband Will of Concord, NC and Lettie Dixon of Asheville, NC; son Wm. Gary Wright and wife Shanna Greathouse of Lake Tahoe, NV; foster son Joseph Godsey; grandchildren Eli, Emma, and Ashlynn; sisters Ida Mullis, and Catherine Rasnick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and brother/ sister in laws that meant the world to her.
