Paul Edward Rose, 77 of Neon, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his residence. Paul was the son of the late Paul "Lefty" Rose and Gracie Louise Webb Rose Howell. Paul was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a master carpenter. He loved to hunt, fish and make people laugh. He worked at Golden Oak Mining for 27 years. He loved his family and being a "Poppy" Surviving is his wife of 47 years: Sondra Karen Jent Rose; 1 son: Jamie Edward Rose of Neon; 1 daughter: Pauletta Rose-Profitt (Benji) of Neon; 1 granddaughter: Morgan Dennise Profitt; 1 sister: Penny O'Brien (Steve) of Lexington; special friend: Pastor Bill Craft. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Deane Baptist Church with Bill Craft and Chris Dool officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday and 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Deane Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kenneth Gooch Memorial Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky.
