Peggy (Campbell) Back

Peggy (Campbell) Back, 64 of Hallie, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Peggy was the daughter of the late Evan and Hester Eldridge Campbell. Surviving is her husband of 45 years: Charlie Back; 2 sisters: Martha (Doug) Bailey and Connie Campbell both of Cornettsville; 2 sisters in law: Margie Cornett of Hallie and Freida Campbell of Hazard; 1 brother in law: Donnie Cornett along with a host of special nieces and nephews that considered her as mom to mourn her passing. Peggy was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Luther Campbell, Colin Campbell, Darrell Campbell, and Billy Campbell; 4 sisters: Judy Ison, Pat Ison, Loretta Campbell, and Betty Campbell; 2 sisters in law: Maggie Cornett and Vonetta Campbell; 2 brothers in law: John Ison and Benton Ison. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 1:00 O'clock P.M. at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon, Scotty Halcomb, Jim Fields, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiram Campbell Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
