Phyllis Ann (Potter) Bentley

Phyllis Ann Bentley, 78 of Jackhorn, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Phyllis was the daughter of the late John and Rosie Tolliver Potter. She was the widower of Elster Dean Bentley. Surviving is 1 son: Joseph Dean Bentley; 1 daughter: Christie (Travis) Dunbar; 1 sister: Betty Bentley; 4 grandchildren: Aaron Joseph Bentley, Bryanna Briceno Leos, Calleigh Dunbar and Marley Dunbar; 3 great grandchildren: Brantley, Hudson and Eden and 1 great grandchild on the way along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Phyllis was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Tammy; 3 brothers: George Henry Potter, Sam Potter and Melvin Potter; 1 sister: Reva Greene. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Hemphill Freewill Baptist Church with Danny Hurst officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hemphill Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Ruben Potter Cemetery at Jackhorn, Kentucky.
