Randy Joe Boggs

Randy Joe Boggs, 68 years old, passed away suddenly at the Blue Grass Care Navigators in Hazard, Kentucky on December 25, 2025.

Randy was the son of the late David and Oshie Baker Boggs.

Surviving is his wife of 45 years: Nervesta Boggs; 1 daughter: Hannah Boggs and James; 2 sons: Randy Boggs, Jr. and Emory and Kasey Boggs of Cowan; 1 brother: Gary Wayne Boggs of Bo Fork; 2 sisters: Faye and Sonny Martin of Whitesburg and Dana and Doug Sturgill of London; 8 grandchildren: Randi, Kaitlyn, Emory, Wynter, Khloe, Wryley, Randy III and Kylie; 3 great grandchildren: Jordy, Easton and Samuel along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Randy was a Heavy Equipment Operator, Mechanic and Logger most of his life.

Randy was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Wanda Marie Boggs (Susie); 5 brothers: Elvy, Lester, Johnny, Rodney and David Boggs; 4 sisters: Lucy Boggs, Sandra Roark, Linda Pendelton and Brenda Ratliff.

Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the Cowan Chapel Church with Burdell Gilley and Gary Halcomb officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Cowan Chapel Church and all day Saturday at the Cowan Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Boggs Family Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
