Renata Dawn McKinney-Bailey, age 23 of Blackey, passed way November 1, 2024 in Mayking, Kentucky.

Renata is the daughter of Riley Edward McKinney (Julie) of Carrie and Christie Lua Smith (Bobby) of Blackey.

Surviving other than her parents is her sister: Tamara McKinney (Estle); 2 nephews: Hunter Smith and Dreyden Smith; 1 niece: Bristol Smith; papaw: Hillard Ray Smith; papaw: Donny Johnson of Mayking; papaw: James Calwell of Leslie County; a special family friend: Molly Jo Morrison and best friend: Ava Gray along with other family and friends to mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Matthew Patrick Bailey; aunt: Vanessa Smith; Mamaw: Ella Mae Smith and Mamaw: Alma Sharon Johnson.

Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with David Jent and Earl Combs officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Jent Mountain Cemetery at Carcassonne, Kentucky.
