Richard "Dick" Adams, 82, of Jeremiah passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Dick was the son of the late James Fred and Prescovia Spencer Adams. Surviving is his wife: Patricia Adams; 7 children: Dianne Lynn Banks of Jeremiah, Fran Adams of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, Jamie Adams of Jeremiah, Angela Tackett, Amy Tackett, and Andrea Baker all of Lenoir, North Carolina and Anthony Ray Tackett of London; 2 brothers: Fred Michael Adams of Somerset and Timothy James Adams of Jeremiah; 2 sisters: Linda Hatton of Jeremiah and Brenda Bush of Lexington; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Dick was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Bobby Adams, Charles Adams, Roy Adams, and David Adams. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Fred Adams Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
