Richard Brown Obituary

Richard L. Brown, 77, of Isom passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Richard was the son of the late Alma Breeding Amburgey. Surviving is his wife of 50 years: Mazie Brown; 2 Daughters: Teresa (Timothy) Hayes of Whitesburg; Kimberly Brown of Isom; 7 Grandchildren: Leslie Gibson, Katelynn Hall, Kacey Troutt, Dalton Hayes, Santana Banks, Tyler Wojochiechowski and Adyn Hayes. 5 Great Grandchildren: Lauren Adams, Zoyee Hammonds, Carson Hall, Jaxson Hall, Landon Hall and triplets on the way. Richard is preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Lisa Gibson; 3 Brothers: Donald Brown, Roman Brown and William Douglas Brown; 1 Sister: Caralann Brown. Funeral 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home with Richard Hampton and Wallace Bolling officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Isom.
