Robert Wagner Obituary

Robert Wagner, 85 of Whitesburg, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Ky. Robert was the son of the late Dave and Rosie Webb Wagner. Surviving are 2 daughters: Shawn (Tim) Finn of Mayking and Peggy (Paul Mark) Cook of Smoot Creek; 2 brothers: Darrel Wagner and W L Wagner; 4 sisters: Linda Hughes, Lettie Jane Blair, Henrietta Wright, and Ellen Compton; 5 grandchildren: Amber (Adam) Maggard, Ashley (Colter) Sumpter, Robert Paul Cook, Aaron (Beth) Finn, and Whitney (Zane) Blair; 7 great grandchildren: Aiden, Easton, Lindsey, Sawyer, Emma, Atlas, and Sophie. Robert was preceded in death by his wife: Esther Tackett Wagner; a brother: Don Wagner. Funeral: 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Josh Huff and Toby Breeding officiating. Visitation: 6:00-10:00 PM Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Ky.
