Rodney O'Neill Boggs, 62, of Whitesburg passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Rodney was the son of the late David Carroll Boggs Sr and Oshie Baker Boggs. Surviving is his wife: Mary Sexton Boggs; 1 son: Elmer Brian (Amanda) Boggs of Isom; 1 daughter: Heather Diane (Killer) Adams of Big Cowan; 3 brothers: Gary Wayne Boggs, Randy Jo Boggs, and David Jr. Boggs all of Cowan; 4 sisters: Faye Martin of Whitesburg, Dana Marie Sturgill of London, Brenda Ratliff of Kingscreek, and Linda Pendleton of Cowan; 2 grandchildren: Sophe and Nathan. Rodney was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Elvy Carroll Boggs, John H. Boggs, and Lester Boggs; 2 sisters: Lucy Boggs and Sandra K. Roark. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Little Colley Pentecostal Church with John Conn, George Collins, and Josh Sturgill officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Little Colley Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the Boggs Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
