Roland Douglas Brown

Roland Douglas Brown, 70 of Jeremiah, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Blackey, Kentucky. Roland was the son of the late Dewey Roscoe Brown and Martha Eldridge Brown.

Surviving is his wife Ruth Ann (Blair) Brown, two sons Roland D. Brown II (Ellen) of Blackey, KY, Frederick Dean Brown of Isom, KY. Special son in Law John Morton of Jeremiah, KY. Two daughters Toni Maggard (Greg) of Whitesburg, KY and Melody Ann Blair of Pineville, KY. Three Grandson Ryan Morton, Malachi Brown, and Gregory Maggard Three brothers Ronald Brown of Leland, NC, Ralph Brown of West Liberty, KY and a Robert Brown of Seattle, WA, Three sisters Ruby McDaniel of Lexington, KY, Rosalee Dixon of Wilmington, NC and Connie Arnold of Grantsboro, NC along with a very large and loving group of nieces and nephews, his Breeding’s Plumbing and Electric family, and so many friends and family who will miss him dearly.

Roland was preceded in death by 1 brother: Russell; 3 sisters: Ruth, Roberta and Ramona Carol. 1 grandson: Travis Uriah Morton.

Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Roy Slone and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mary A. Blair Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky. 

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church.
